1. What we have done
The website has been designed with accessibility in mind from the start. In particular:
- Text contrasts are checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- The layout is fully responsive and works on phones, tablets and laptops.
- Content can be navigated by keyboard alone.
- Images have descriptive alternative text where they convey information.
- Headings and landmarks are used so screen readers can move through the page logically.
- The site does not rely on colour alone to convey meaning.
2. Known limitations
We are aware of the following areas that may not yet meet AA standards:
- The Facebook and Instagram embeds on the home page are controlled by Meta. Their accessibility depends on Meta’s own implementation, which we cannot directly fix.
- Some PDF policy documents may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We are working with England Netball to obtain accessible versions.
- Older photographs may not have full alt text. We are adding descriptions as we update the photo library.
3. Requesting alternative formats
If you need any of the information on this site, including a downloadable policy, in a different format (large print, plain text, audio, or another language), email rivington.n.c@hotmail.co.uk and we will do our best to provide it. We aim to respond within ten working days.
4. Reporting accessibility problems
If you find something on the site that is hard to use, please tell us. Email rivington.n.c@hotmail.co.uk with a description of the problem and the page you were on. We will look into it and let you know what we can do.
5. Enforcement
If you are not happy with how we respond to your accessibility concern, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
6. How this statement was prepared
This statement was prepared in May 2026 based on a self-assessment of the website. We aim to review it at least once a year.
