Rivington Netball Club is based in Bolton, providing netball training for girls from Year 2 right through to senior level. Run by a committee of volunteers, with parents and juniors also volunteering in coaching and team-coordinating roles.
Rivington Netball Club was established in 2007, with the aim of giving young people in Bolton the opportunity to take part in netball outside school hours in a club setting. Around 2010, Kirstin Jackson set up Sunday-morning sessions to extend the club to younger girls. A handful became 20, then 40, then 75. Sam Inman joined to help split the age groups, and the junior section we know today took shape.
Today we coach over 250 players from Year 2 right through to senior level, with teams competing in leagues across Bolton, Bury and Greater Manchester.
RNC has earned national and local quality kite-marks. They recognise safe, high-quality coaching and good club governance.
